Charmander #69 from Base Set 2 is a common card that currently sells for about $2.00 ungraded, with graded copies ranging from $21.00 at grade 7 to $207 at grade 10. A grade 10 copy sells for around $207, about 103× the $2.00 raw price, so high-grade copies are worth grading.
